Michael was educated at the Nautical College Pangbourne and obtained his Private Pilot’s License prior to leaving school. A career as an airline pilot followed with British European Airways and Laker Airways flying a multitude of turboprop and jet aircraft including the Comet 4, Boeing 707 and the DC-10. He holds Airline Transport Pilot Licenses from the UK CAA, US FAA, Swiss FOCA, Bermuda, Ghana and Lebanon.
A founding director of UK based cargo airline, Pelican Air Transport, Michael went on to start Aircrew Limited operating wet lease capacity Boeing freighters in Africa and the Far East.
Aircraft trading was a natural progression in the ‘80s and both of Michael’s companies, Midair Group and Aerospace Finance Ltd have a history of principal ownership and leasing of Boeing equipment with airlines as diverse as Air New Zealand, Air Lanka, Air Gabon, QANTAS, Cathay Pacific, Malaysian Airlines, Japan Airlines, South African Airways and Boeing Military.
Midair Group was the originating source of over 65 Boeing aircraft to Russia’s Transaero Airlines OJSC and until 2015 were also the owners of Midair USA Inc, a Boeing heavy maintenance organisation in the USA will full FAA/EASA “D” Check capability on B747-400, B767-300 and 777-300 aircraft.
In the corporate jet world, Midair has always owned its own in-house private aircraft, ranging from the Citation series to a Hawker 800XP.
Michael’s experience in the aviation world extends to aircraft transaction legal negotiations, leasing and finance, operational and maintenance matters and engine and spare parts ownership and marketing.

Entrepreneur, with over 30 years’ experience within Aerospace Business Development. Qualified with An Honours Degree in Aerospace Engineering. Tayab Plans, directs and overseas the company’s operational policies, rules, initiatives and goals. Helps the organisation execute long-term and short-term plans and directives by implementing judgement, vision, management, and leadership. Has Initiated and developed business from the Middle East to as far the USA. Managed commercial projects from small BBJ to large wide bodies (Passenger to Cargo conversion). As Chief of the Office of Airworthiness his duties are ensuring the initiation of activities as a response to failure (accident/ incident/in-service experience) evaluation and complaints from the operation and providing of information to the Agency in case of airworthiness impairment (continuing airworthiness)

Anthony T Coles Miet
Having served a 5 year indentured apprenticeship Tony went on to complete 13 years of further education whilst working in an Engineering environment. Tony has been in Engineering over 40 years and has experience in all things mechanical and Electrical, buildings, cars, ships, planes and trains. Tony has an international patent and has worked in tier 1 suppliers, Modification DOA, MRO and OEM in the aviation industry. He is now the Head of Design Organisation for Spires Engineering Consultancy Ltd.
Chief Technical Officer
Qualified in Aeronautical Engineering at Rolls-Royce Bristol, with working experience on Concorde, Harriers, Vulcan, Lynx and many other aircraft and engines. Left Aviation to concentrate on design skills and produced many Automotive projects.
Complete working prototypes for both major and niche car manufacturers, with commissions for Middle East and Far East Royalty on many private special projects and commercial projects such as the Heathrow Airport T5 electric shuttle pods.
Several years working with Mike Davis Midair Squadron, restoring and flying a Canberra Bomber and two Hawker Hunters at many UK airshows, a massive undertaking by all involved.
Experience in luxury commissions and interiors brings me back into Aviation with capabilities to complete executive jet interiors.
